How to report an error

Write to Anton Sopov, founder, The Prompt Group, at [email protected]. Give the page address, the figure, and what you believe is wrong. We reply within 5 business days with what we found and, where the figure was wrong, the corrected figure.

What gets corrected

  • Entity resolution: answers that name a company under another string and were counted as a different company, or two companies counted as one.
  • Transcription: a figure on a page that does not match the stored answers.
  • Citation attribution: a source credited to the wrong company or answer.

What does not

A score a company disagrees with. Each figure records what ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Overview said in the answers collected on the dates shown; if the stored answers say it, the figure stands. The answers themselves are available to the company in its dashboard.

Logos and names

A company can ask for its logo to be removed from the directory; we remove it within one business day. The company stays in the data under its name, because the data records what the engines said.

An answer naming two variants of one firm now counts once. Scotia Wealth Management is now named in 16 of 166 category answers (9.6%) and RBC Wealth Management in 41 (24.7%). The full list of merges, with the reason for each, is in the study's alias file.
